Very creative use of spacing, surreal and reality merging into one. The patterns/shapes seen in this shot are contrasting - striped shirt vs plain wood, square frame vs plain wall - giving the photograph something more to think about. James Dean's eyes are so mysterious, you just dont know what he is thinking, and the wooden doll gives the whole image the sense of an imaginary world.
